In this video we provide a How to demonstration on performing a self taping technique for your thumb.


This is an ideal technique for those returning to contact or ball sports. Sports which utilise this particular strapping technique include:


  • Volleyball

  • Basketball

  • Australian Rules Football

  • Soccer Goalkeepers

  • Netball

  • Rugby

  • Americal Football

  • Waterpolo

Some common thumb injuries this could be used for when returning to sport may include:


  • Thumb Dislocation

  • Thumb Fracture

  • Ligament Sprains or Strains of the thumb.
