How to Tape a Sprained Finger

In this video we demonstrate how to buddy tape your finger.


This is a great strapping / taping technique which can be used post sprain, strain or fracture to provide the finger extra support. This technique could be used to assist an athlete return to sport or during the recovery process when encouraging active assisted range of motion to improve finger flexibility.


Finger injuries can be quite complex and in some cases cause a variety of long term complications. So we always recommend seeing a professional to get an accurate assessment, diagnosis and management program as simply buddy strapping your finger in some cases can cause more harm than good.
